Product Description

The Gantry Automatic CW Laser Welding Machine for Li-ion Battery Packs features a high-rigidity gantry structure, seamlessly integrating with existing PLC roller production lines and replacing the cumbersome layout of multiple Dot Peen Marking Machines and Pneumatic Marking Machines. A 3 kW CW laser achieves deep penetration welding on LFP/NMC battery casings of all sizes from 21700 to 4680, simultaneously performing Laser Marking Machine-level Precision Marking such as logos and batch numbers via a coaxial galvanometer. Welding and marking are completed in a single process, saving 30% of workstation space.

Compatibility Highlights

- Supports all battery cell specifications including 21700, 32700, 33140, 40135, and 4680, with a pressing Fixture pressure tolerance of ±3 N, essentially bringing the cylinder pressing precision of a Pneumatic marking machine to a laser welding station.

- The high-speed galvanometer scanning head is natively integrated into the Laser Marking Machine platform, with a positioning accuracy of ±0.02 mm. It allows for "one-click material switching" between various tabs made of aluminum, copper, nickel, and silver—eliminating the need to change tungsten steel needles of different hardness as required by the Dot Peen Marking Machine.

- Open MES/PLC protocol, enabling automatic integration with existing PLC-controlled roller conveyors or AGVs; it can also revert to manual/robotic loading modes, allowing robots originally running the Marking Machine to be reused, saving on secondary integration costs.
