On July 22, 2025, the factory of Chongqing Chuke Intelligent Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chuke Intelligent") welcomed a special visitor-Mr. Li (pseudonym), the head of a large engineering company and a long-term user of Sany excavators. Accompanied by the Chuke Intelligent technical team, Mr. Li personally operated the latest generation of
Laser Cleaning equipment to conduct in-depth cleaning tests on key components such as the crawler of a Sany excavator that had been in service for 5 years. After 30 minutes of contactless cleaning, the rust and oil stains on the surface of the equipment were completely removed, the substrate was zero damaged, and the cleaning efficiency was more than 4 times higher than that of the traditional sandblasting process. The test results amazed Mr. Li: "Laser cleaning not only solves the environmental protection problem, but also reduces the equipment maintenance cost by 30%!"
At the test site, Chuke Intelligent engineers simulated typical scenarios such as chassis rust in high salt fog environment in ports and oil accumulation in hydraulic systems after mining operations in response to the pain points of the engineering machinery industry. By adjusting the laser power density and scanning speed, the equipment completed the nano-level cleaning of the gap of the excavator bucket teeth within 5 minutes, and the surface roughness was optimized from Ra6.3μm to Ra1.6μm, reaching the remanufacturing standard.
"The traditional pickling process will produce chromium-containing wastewater, while the laser cleaning process is chemical-free, and a single device can reduce the cost of hazardous waste treatment by more than 200,000 yuan per year." Zhang Wei, general manager of Chuke Intelligence, introduced. It is reported that the company's independently developed "pulse fiber laser cleaning system" has won 12 national patents. Its core "light-sound-heat" multi-physics field coupling technology can accurately control the cleaning depth to 0.01mm, which is suitable for complex materials such as aluminum alloy and high-strength steel.
As one of the first users of Sany Heavy Machinery's 2025 electric products, Mr. Li's company operates more than 50 Sany electric excavators in Sichuan and Chongqing. He revealed: "Enclosed scenes such as steel mills and tunnels have extremely high requirements for equipment cleanliness. Previously, we had to shut down for 3 days for traditional cleaning. Now, laser equipment can be used to complete maintenance during operation intervals, increasing the effective operation time by more than 600 hours per year."
What impressed Mr. Li even more was Chuke Intelligent's "cleaning data middle platform". Through the IoT module installed in the equipment, parameters such as temperature, energy consumption, and material removal during the cleaning process are uploaded to the cloud in real time to generate a visual report. "This is equivalent to establishing a 'health file' for each device, providing data support for preventive maintenance." Mr. Li signed a purchase agreement for multiple laser cleaning equipment on the spot.
