On September 9, 2025, Chongqing Chuke Intelligent Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chuke Intelligent") welcomed a special delegation from a pharmaceutical company in Pakistan. The primary objective of this visit was to identify a
Laser Marking Machine that would meet local regulations and provide efficient and environmentally friendly marking for their food and beverage plastic packaging. After several hours of on-site testing and in-depth discussions, Chuke Intelligent's independently developed
UV Laser Marking Machine, demonstrating its exceptional performance of "cold processing, high precision, and no consumables," successfully passed the customer's rigorous testing. The two parties reached a preliminary cooperation agreement on the spot, marking the official entry of Chinese high-end laser equipment into the South Asian food and beverage packaging market.
Pakistan's pre-packaged food labels must include 12 core items, including bilingual information in Urdu and English, an ingredient list, production date, expiration date, and country of origin. The labeling must be permanently affixed to the packaging surface. However, traditional inkjet printing is prone to wear and tear, while fiber laser marking, due to high heat, can easily cause deformation or burning of plastic substrates such as PET and PP, creating pain points in the industry.
To address this challenge, the Chuke Intelligent Technology team demonstrated its third-generation
Uv Laser Marking machine (355nm wavelength). This machine utilizes "cold light source" technology, with a focused beam spot diameter of just 15 microns and a heat-affected zone of less than 0.1 mm. It can precisely remove plastic surface coatings without damaging the substrate. In field tests, the laser beam, scanning at a speed of 0.1 mm/s, simultaneously engraved bilingual Chinese and English labels, production dates, and QR codes on custom-provided PET bottles and multi-layer composite packaging. The resulting labels achieved a 92% contrast ratio, a 100% scanning success rate, and a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 microns, fully complying with ISO/IEC 18004 international standards.
"We've tested international brands like Germany's TRUMPF and the United States' Coherent, but Chuke Intelligent's equipment surpasses them in curved surface marking accuracy and multilingual compatibility," the client's technical director exclaimed after inspecting the samples. "Especially, its dynamic spot adjustment technology automatically adjusts energy density based on the package curvature, keeping the error within ±0.02mm. It's the most intelligent solution we've ever seen!"
This collaboration is not Chuke Intelligent's first foray into the South Asian market. By the first half of 2025, the company had customized automated laser welding production lines for Indian automobiles, supplied autofocus
UV Laser Marking Machines to a Turkish automotive shock absorber spring manufacturer, and successfully entered the supply chain of a global lithium battery giant. Data shows a 210% year-on-year increase in overseas orders, with products distributed in over 60 countries and regions.
"Our goal is to make Chinese laser technology a 'standard feature' in high-end manufacturing production lines worldwide." With the successful conclusion of this inspection, Chuke Intelligent's UV laser marking machines will soon be available in South Asia, injecting Chinese momentum into the intelligent transformation of Pakistan's food and beverage industry. This is just another shining example in the journey of Chinese high-end equipment going global.
